My goal is to empower you in every way possible and let’s face it….trying on lingerie isn’t always an empowering experience. One way I try to improve this part of your boudoir portrait experience is by asking you some questions prior to your session so I can pre-select the items I’d recommend for you, based off of your answers. 

The other thing I do to make this process go more smoothly is hand selecting items for the studio wardrobe that work for all different body shapes and sizes, as well as, feel soft and comfy!! If you’ve ever tried on lingerie before then you probably know that most lingerie is not so soft or comfortable. I’ve had surprisingly good luck finding items that look great on every BODY, feel great and are budget friendly too, from Amazon! 

There’s a couple of my fave lingerie outfits from Amazon, in the studio wardrobe that are no longer available unfortunately. The good news is I still have them available in the studio wardrobe for you to wear during your portrait session!

Here’s my top 10 faves that are still available!:

1. A top fave amongst past clients! Comes in lots of different colors and sizes XS - 3XL. If you are on the more busty side you will love this because of the halter neck tie, plunging v-neck and soft stretchy lace. Finding lingerie that fits the girls is it’s own challenge and this is my go to because it doesn’t have underwire or defined cups! The Back is super sexy and features a satin ribbon bow that ties. 2. Love this one because of the unique fishnet texture that is edgy with a touch of feminine lace! But once you put this on you will be so surprised with how soft this is especially the satin waist tie! It’s an ultra soft and stretchy fabric! There’s over 13,000 reviews and comes in sizes S-4XL. The back is a thong style on the bottom and bra style on the top.

3. This piece is a classic and has probably been used THE MOST out of my entire studio wardrobe! I own this piece personally and feel so beautiful and sexy in it! There are some adjustable straps in the back to create the perfect fit. The high cut hip area is ultra sexy and compliments your feminine figure. The white one is perfect brides. You can wear it during your bridal boudoir photoshoot and then surprise your partner with it in real life on your honeymoon!

4. Now that I’ve shown some classic body suits, here’s a very popular dress/robe? Or whatever you prefer to call it. Amazon calls it a swim cover up which could work but it is a delicate lace. Pairs perfectly with the bodysuits mentioned above or for an ultra steamy look wear all by itself! The waist tie is adjustable and the side slits run all the way up on both sides!

5. This is for all the ladies who love all things sparkly!! Different than your traditional lingerie and oh so glamorous and sexy at the same time!! One size fits most is the only size available and when you receive this it will look way too small but trust the process!! It reminds me of fishnet pantyhose so it’s extremely stretchy! Highly recommend if you want some sparkle in your life!

6. These pasties are so pretty, you can’t help but want them on your body!! They look amazing with the glitter bodysuit, or by themselves! When you visit the amazon link you will see that there are several variations available in different colors and patterns!

7. A classy yet sexy and super soft velvet bodysuit that laces up in the back like a corset, but much more comfortable than an actual corset! BONUS: You can pair this with pants or a skirt and wear it out! I have it in black but looove this new leopard print one! Lots of colors to choose from too!

8. If lace isn’t your thing, or maybe you just want to look sexy and cozy at the same time then this is for you! Over 15,000 reviews and comes in a wide variety of colors! I will say it’s not as soft or plush as it looks but it’s not a bad material at all.

9. A classic look but with a modern upgrade! Get the sexy look of wearing nothing but a men’s button up shirt but with a softer more flowy texture and feminine shape! This one wrinkles easily but is so soft, cool and flowy! Comes in several colors but white is a classic for this look. The white is also a tiny bit sheer. Sizes small to XXL.

10. I saved the best for last!! The famous feather robe that EVERYONE asks about. As soon as women put this on in the studio their sexy, elegant and glamorous alter ego comes alive! Women are always telling me they need one to wear around the house and just do dishes in, while feeling like a queen! I chose the extra feathers. I believe they ask when checking out. Highly recommend!

Plus - if you purchase your own outfits for your portrait session, then you will get to wear them after, for yourself or with your partner! Keep in mind at these prices some items may not be made to last but you probably won’t be wearing them for very long anyways 😉

Let this also be your reminder that you do not need a partner to be able to enjoy lingerie or a boudoir portrait session!!!! Doing something sensual and fun for yourself is so refreshing, and empowering. You will be so surprised you haven’t treated yourself to something sexy before!
